Just an idea I had today after talking about the mmog, Ultima Online, with a friend of mine. Dying tunics after creating your character!
We played that game for years and I was even lucky enough to work on it after it launched. Dying clothing was one of the game's unique, and very cool, features. I had a tendency to come up with some truly terrible looking color combinations. :)
But sometimes you just want to change your look!
Since I already have the system working that chooses tunic colors for the townspeople I can piggyback on that for this system. The tunic dyes will be crafted at the Tailor. I added them to the Tailor's crafting list but will need to add support for actually crafting and using them.

I like the idea of using some of the Alchemy resources to make these too. I'll likely add some special colors that are only available through the Tailor. And at least one or two could be for Early Access users only!
Might be fun to let you dye the tunics of your townspeople too. So if you want all of your workers to be in blue, your smiths in orange, etc. That would probably be a phase two of this though.
Maybe polka-dots?

j/k!
No seriously, no polka dots. ːsteamhappyː
