Happy New Year everyone!
Today's update includes a much needed and long awaited feature - separate sliders for Music and Sound settings! Adding this actually required a fairly large change to the way sound works in the game but I think HammerHelm has been around far too long without them.
You can adjust the settings in either the title menu or when in game after pressing ESC.
Also regarding sounds, once you've had a chance to play with the settings, if there are any sounds that are too loud or too quiet compared to others let me know. I'm doing a volume pass on the sounds and music to set them closer together.
This build also includes the Tavern Cellar. You can enter the cellar by using the door at the back inside of the tavern. I'll be using this for some quests in future updates!
Speaking of the Tavern, I'm also updating it. Right now, the second story floor and the main roof are really low, causing the game to look like this when the camera shifts down under the ceiling:

Ew.
The new Tavern is going to be raised a bit. I didn't want to add two more stories as that would make the Tavern far too large. So I added a row of vertical wood between the first and second floor and another between the second floor and the roof. It not only raises the building but it also creates what I think is a nice break in the look of the Tavern's normal stone and wood walls.
Work in progress shot:

The net effect of this is a much nicer looking screen when you are inside the tavern (again, still WIP, but I'm pretty happy with the result)

You can also see the cellar door in front of my character.
A couple of other things in this build:
- Fixed a bug that caused the diagonal running animation to persist after releasing the A or D keys and continuing to run forward.
- Turned off the Holiday lights and Santa Hats (booooo!)
