Lots to talk about including the new armor, weapons, and...Beta! ːsteamhappyː With the update to the game world and the new weapons and armor, HammerHelm finally looks the way I've always wanted it to.
The new trees are now the default setting and all of the new armor and weapons are in the game! I still have to update the decorative armor and weapons and the armor and weapons that are on display in the shops. I'll be doing that very soon, but I wanted to get the big part of this, the character weapons and armor, in this build!
I really love the new items. From the heftiness of the Iron Armor to the sleek look of the Diamond and Blood Stone, each set now has its own unique look! I think the Iron armor is my favorite. :)
Ok, so what does Beta mean exactly? It means the core gameplay is there, most of the art is in place (still some monsters to update!) and I'm going to be focusing on refining features/graphics, adding more content, and optimizations. Still lots to do!
The Steam page has been updated with the new images and there's a new trailer, showcasing the new game world, armor, weapons, monsters, and the town building.
So what now? The roadmap for Beta currently includes a bunch of updates that I'm very excited to get started on again!
The new combat system. More tactical and a bit less predictable, while still easy to learn and play.
New Quests. Includes repeatable quests as well as Story Quests!
Continued Graphics Improvements. Including new water, the better tree falling animation when trees are chopped down, and the more fun building construction animations.

Finish the Remaining Monsters - Lich, Scarecrow, and Zombie
And more - including adding some more hair and beard styles, more quests, more decor for your home, finish controller support, and of course, bug fixes. I also have some things I want to add to the world map too.
