Hello, Generals!
Hoping you'll enjoy it, I'm sharing the news just released about my new co-op multiplayer FPS game "Home Wars: Battlefield" in development (ADD it to your WISHLIST):
"Hi fellows!
As we approach that magical Christmas, I'd like to introduce you to a tough guy from the coldest and harshest lands on the planet: the Mi-24 "Bruiser" heavy attack helicopter!
I'm actually torn between "Boris" and "Bruiser". Which do you recommend?
This beast is halfway between a tank and a helicopter!
I've always wanted to include it in one of my games, but I've never gotten around to it, so this time I've decided to include it from launch!
The Bruiser, at least for now, is the most armored and most heavily armed helicopter in the game, a true master of its field.
That doesn't mean it's the best in every field, though! It's slow and inflexible, and, for example, the AH-64's anti-tank missiles are supposed to have a longer range.
There are two crew positions: the pilot and the gunner.
Both will be damn dangerous!
I'd like to tell you which weapons have which roles, but I'm not sure yet. I'll have to check during gameplay, so for now I'll just list the possible weapons and you can tell me what combination you think is optimal for the two roles.
Also, IMPORTANTLY, for very important aircraft like this, I'd like to introduce variants, i.e., differently armed models. What do you think?
Here are the weapons it could carry:
- 70 mm high-explosive rockets
- 127 mm high-explosive rockets
- 127 mm incendiary rockets
- 127 mm armor-piercing rockets
- anti-tank missiles
- anti-aircraft missiles
- 50 kg bombs
- 100 kg bombs
- twin cannon firing 40 mm shells (for the driver)
- 20-30 mm rotary cannon mounted on a turret (for the gunner)
If you imagine two versions, tell me how you would arrange them, considering that each of the two positions (driver and gunner) can carry a maximum of three weapons each.
Would you be interested in an even heavier version with a third crew member covering the lower and rear sections?
Another question: in your opinion, should identical weapons on different vehicles/aircraft have the same characteristics or not? For example, if two aircraft are equipped with the same missile, is it better for the missile to have the same characteristics in both cases?
I know there are several questions, so please try to answer them all each time so the game will be more accessible to everyone!
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!"
