Hello, Generals!
Hoping you'll enjoy it, I'm sharing the news just released about my new co-op multiplayer FPS game "Home Wars: Battlefield" in development (ADD it to your WISHLIST):
"Hello, soldiers!
Today, I bring you a historical gem: an aircraft that's extremely rare in the world of video games, the "Baron"!
You'll say, "What the hell are you talking about? That name doesn't exist!"
You're right, in fact, its real name is Fokker Dr.I... does that mean anything to you?
Probably not, that's understandable.
What if I said "Red Baron"?
If that doesn't mean anything to you either, please go back to playing soccer video games!!!
As many of you know, the Red Baron was a German flying ace in World War I! He flew his legendary Fokker Dr.I, painted completely red, hence the name.
The Fokker Dr.I was a fighter aircraft, and that's precisely what it will be in the game, where it'll be armed with two 7.62 mm machine guns that the pilot can use.
Now, many will come to my house with pitchforks to tell me that wasn't the original caliber, but, as I've answered others, I'm combining weapons and vehicles from over a century of military history belonging to different countries, and therefore with completely different calibers. For my own sanity, I'm trying to group as many calibers as possible into a few categories to manage the game's balance better.
Returning to the Baron, it will be a triplane fighter, very light, with a low cruising speed and a strong will to win!
As a World War I aircraft, and considering the advanced technology of the F-22 in the game, I need to characterize it in a way that doesn't render it entirely useless for the player.
For this reason, it will be the first unlockable fighter and therefore the cheapest to call into battle.
It won't be able to compete against more modern aircraft, but it will be a good option for taking down bombers from its era and even for taking down some unarmored ground enemies.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to comment below.
See you at the next MEET!
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!"
