Version 1.0.6 Notes
Steam Leaderboards have been added in a beta state. This will be developed further after there are some scores in the system, and I get any feedback.
- Your scores and times in free-play will be uploaded to the leaderboards.
- Only new scores will be uploaded. It is not possible for the leaderboards to be retroactive.
- In free play, view leaderboards with F3 or the X button.
- Due to limits on the number of possible leaderboards, scores for all timing difficulties go into the same leaderboard. There is a 5% penalty for using moderate timing difficulty, and a 10% penalty for using loose timing. By default, you will only see scores of players using the same difficulty as you, but you can toggle this filter with Space or the Y button in order to see the entire leaderboard.
Here's a bit more explanation about timing difficulties. "Strict" is the intended difficulty, but it was found that many casual players struggled with this timing, so "Loose" was added to accommodate those players. Then, the difference between Strict and Loose was too great, so Moderate was added in-between as a default. It is intended that you must be using Strict timing in order to appear at the top of the leaderboard, but the filtering ability lets you see your place relative to other players using the same setting.
