Player
- Fixed double tapping in to ADS (Aim Down Sight) too quickly while in first person disconnecting the camera from the character’s neck.
- Fixed third-person camera starting to slide in to Over The Shoulder view when tapping to go into ADS.
- Fixed weapon reticle sometimes appearing incorrectly when moving in and out of ADS.
- Improved responsiveness for clicking to move in to ADS.
- Fixed issues where player could enter ADS while interacting with objects.
- Slightly increased leaning speed.
- Fixed player camera going in to ADS while the character is still unholstering their weapon, even without clicking to go in to ADS.
- Aim direction is no longer completely offset when moving in and out of ADS.
- Fixed issue caused by exiting ADS while still holding [Shift] to hold breath.
- Fixed various errors affecting performance occuring due to the weapon system.
- Fixed holding [RMB] while exiting ADS to cause player to lower their weapon while still ADS.
- Fixed weapons from jamming while firing a gun despite not having any bullets in the gun to shoot.
- Reduced general chance of weapon jamming.
- Fixed circumstance where a melee weapon would appear in the character’s hands at the same time as a firearm.
- Fixed weapon information in the inventory not disappearing after removing the weapon from the equipment slot.
- Fixed weapon description text in the inventory being cut off.
- New photo-realistic skin textures for Amy.
- Amended Amy's skin shaders qualities to be more in line with the overall appearance of the world .
- Player’s shoulder torch has been made wider and brighter.
Game
- New x4 Scope now attached to M16 (we are aware of a jitter issue happening with the scopes at the moment, we are currently exploring options to fix this).
- New Holo Sight now attached to MK18.
- New implementation of quest system for Public Alpha release.
- Updated UI elements for game tips.
- Updated UI elements for quest system.
- New UI element for radio frequency.
- New radio control key bindings.
- New door locking logic. Player must have correct key in inventory to open certain doors.
- Additional game tips added and integrated with Quest system.
- Tutorial quest added “Welcome to Eden-Nadir”.
- Weapons no longer spawn in Sheriff Sen’s house.
- Game Bug Reporting feature can now be used to report bugs remotely to our bug tracking service from within the game.
AI
- Fixed various errors affecting performance caused by the AI.
- Adjusted Hanouten bridge spawn to avoid Wanderers spawning on the walls.
Building
- Fixed random items spawning in player built cupboards.
- Fixed position offset when trying to place a cupboard.
Environment
- Added new photo-realistic rocks.
- Fixed missing house exterior in Hanouten.
- Fixed various Level Of Detail (LOD) materials displaying incorrectly.
- Improved landscape textures overall appearance.
- Reduced the high density of foliage with small patches.
- Added new rock formations.
- Added new Sink Hole location.
- Added new Rocky Maze location.
- Added no build zones, players will be unable to place an structure in these zones.
- Adjusted shadows for improved performance.
- Fixed issue with elevated road and telegraph poles in North of Hanouten.
- Replaced Hanouten Safe-zone placeholder watchtowers with new wooden watchtowers.
