Player
- Fixed player receiving a duplicate weapons in their inventory when picking up another weapon of the same type (e.g. replacing an AR with another AR).
- Fixed picking up Shat’s tinned food which would not be added to the inventory when picked up.
- Fixed issue picking up Wooden Planks which would not be added to the inventory when picked up.
- Fixed issue picking up Compost which would not be added to the inventory when picked up.
- Pickaxe now attaches to Amy’s back when holstered, rather than attaching to her hip.
- Fixed bug where player would not respawn properly if respawning at sleeping bag placed in an enclosed area (e.g. in houses).
- Picking up items underneath foliage are now prioritised over harvesting the foliage.
- New weapon inventory UI with new layout and information.
- New player crafting system layout.
- New crafting feature: Auto Craft system. Will allow you to ask for an item to be crafted once the required items are in your inventory. Feature locked until implementation is finished. Will become usable in near future.
- New crafting feature: Recycle for Resources. Will automatically display what items you can recycle to get the resources required for an item in the crafting list. Feature locked until implementation is finished. Will become usable in near future.
- Crafting queue now has an unlimited size.
- Side Bar [V] now displays the player’s current level.
- Side Bar [V] now displays current quest count (will be useful in near future).
- Nails can now be crafted immediately from Crafting Level 1.
- Removed desaturation effect when in Focus Mode.
- Adjusted Field of View (FOV) when aiming/zooming with the right mouse button.
- Improved camera transition when running.
- Fixed Amy’s head rotation issues.
- Temporarily removed radio control until it becomes usable in quests.
- New looting dialogue variety
Game
- Implementation of ladder climbing system. More ladders to be added to environment over future patches.
- Updates to pop-up game hints.
- Fixed inventory models of weapons and character appearing black.
- Fixed circumstance where player could load a saved game with a full inventory and produce a ring of ‘cat boxes’ around them.
- Updated max stack amounts for items. Stack sizes are now more consistent between items, either stacking to 250 for smaller items, 100 for larger items or not stacking at all.
- Fixed the items being lost when using the Auto-Arrange feature in the inventory.
- Fixed item duplication bug when using interactable cupboards.
- Fixed issue where some harvestable items were not providing the player any more than one type of resource.
- Updated some harvestable plants and items to provide additional secondary resources. For example, cutting Apple Trees may now provide Apples as well as Wooden Logs and Sticks.
- Fixed Game Hints not appearing for some resources when they should have.
- Updates for scalability settings to improve game aesthetic when running on lower settings.
- Added Voice / Dialogue volume control in Settings.
- Added UI / Level Up volume control in Settings.
- Added new Can Opener item. Spawns in toolboxes, random food spawns and kitchen cupboards.
- Can Opener now required to open tinned food.
- Fixed audio sliders in Settings not saving properly.
- Fixed loot spawn issues on Berchet Train Bridge.
AI
- Fixed several despawning issues for animal AI.
- Foxes now only spawn during the night time.
- AI will no longer spawn in close proximity to player structures.
- Added first hair style for Wanderers (variation will be added in near future).
- AI audio now affected by audio options in Settings.
Building
- New building placement visuals for improved visibility in all weather conditions.
- Updates to buildable Walls, Door Frames and Window Frames to make building
- pieces fit together better.
- Player now holds a sheet of blueprint drafting paper while in building mode.
- Releasing [Shift] + [Ctrl] when placing building items no longer resets building height
- adjustment.
- Fixed defensive spikes not being placeable at the correct height.
- All defensive spikes now cause damage.
- Fixed white highlight outline appearing around certain spike placeables.
Environment
- Adjusted palettes at the back of Hanouten Pharmercy to prevent player getting stuck.
- Optimisation improvements for items in Sheriff’s house.
- Optimisation improvements for collisions of items in houses.
- Fixed ceiling collision in some houses.
- Updated pothole decals to show weather effects.
- Added physics gate outside Hanouten hardware shop.
- Adding sound effects to chain physics gates.
- New Simplygon integration for improved LOD management.
- Added Hand Saw item to hardware store (required for crafting Wooden Planks).
- Fixed weather effects on fallen and dead leaves.
- Updated streetlight colour and light-shaft effect.
- Streetlights now have buzzing sound effect
- Added walkway around the back of Dom’s Hardware shop.
- Adjusted quadbike material to fit better into the environment.
