This build provides a way to save and load your EXA layouts! A "layout" contains everything in your EXA environment (resonators, loops, menu interfaces, etc.).
This is just the first step toward this much-requested feature. You can save multiple layouts (a separate save file is created each time), but the EXA interface can currently only load the most recently saved layout. Until EXA's menu interface supports, you could manage your saved files by hand -- see details below.
This build also includes a menu for adjusting your audio/visual settings in real-time. Now you can quickly and easily configure EXA to run with optimal settings for your particular computer.

Details:
Implemented system for saving/loading an entire layout. This includes details of all ringers, tool groups, menu interfaces, and recorded loops. The saved files are in “C:\Users[USER_NAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Aesthetic Interactive\EXA The Infinite Instrument\user-[STEAM_USERID64]\”. There are “snapshot” files saved each time, while maintaining one “layout-custom.json” file with the latest save. Currently, EXA only looks for this “layout-custom.json” file. For now, you can manually change these files/filenames if you wish to switch between multiple saved layouts. Added support for saving/loading using the Steam Cloud. For now, only the “layout-custom.json” file is saved/loaded from the Cloud. EXA attempts to create/overwrite this file with each save. However, EXA only attempts to load a file from the Cloud if no matching file is present on the local machine. Added new “APP” menu interface. Added “APP > SETTINGS” menu section, with sliders for selecting the VR pixel scale (50% to 200%), the built-in latency between a “hit” and its audio (0 to 30ms), and the audio system’s read-buffer size (256, 512, or 1024 samples). For all these settings, lower values can achieve lower latency (less hit-to-audio lag). Try starting at these settings: 100%, 25ms, 256 samples. Reduce the latency setting toward 0ms until you start hearing the audio (from new hits, not loops) get its beginning sounds clipped off. Increase the pixel scale to 150%-200% if your machine can handle it without adding latency. Increase the buffer size if you hear clicks/pops in your audio. Added “APP > LAYOUTS” menu section, with buttons for saving the current custom layout, loading the latest custom layout, or loading the default layout. The saving button will be disabled until you make a change to the scene (move an item, record a new loop, etc.). The loading custom button is disabled until you have a save file available (either locally or on the Steam Cloud). The loading buttons use the “long hover” interaction (like the delete buttons) to ensure to prevent accidental selections. Updated the default positions of the various menu interfaces. Added a “SEE OTHER SIDE” note to the back sides of these interfaces. Various internal bug fixes.
