Hello awesome people!
You might have noticed an update, and we promised it - even though it was a bit delayed!
The most important thing the new update contains is that the game now runs on Linux. We hope this will make some of you happy <3 And of course, we are eager for feedback since we did not test the Linux version so much.
But we have some new stuff, too. Besides a bunch of fixes, like:
- smooth zoom and cam transitions independent of framerate
- ability to buy a visa while visiting an objective
- several encounter fixes
- and a few more tweaks here and there
...we also added Transaction history in the Journal app in the SpacePad. So now you can see where all your uNits came from and where they went.
Warning! We do have fresh bugs!
Like, we only display 10 transactions. For more than that, the Load more transactions button functions, but its broken in the way it looks. Also, when you have a lot more than 10 transactions, you will see the ugly _LOAD MORE TRANSACTIONS button at the top of the list as well.
We look forward for your feedback! We are now fixing the transactions, as well as adding the proper Location app. We also aim for more content in the next patch!
We know the build is unbalanced and missing features. The blog will soon get an update as well, where you can clearly understand the difference between the types of hashtags and how combining them yields more uNits or more influence. As we add more content we will also balance the build better, so you won't be able to make uNits so easy. And as you know, the Influence system is coming. Its a big, complex system which gives us a lot of stress right now because we know we need to get it right. But we are counting on your help, friends!
