Hello there! The final round of Patent Pending level design contest results is up, time to announce our winners:
1st place: :tv2conductor: Eijolend - :tvloco: Spider Cafe
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3229825692
10:30, SOFLTO, stop the timers with an Inhibitor for 210 seconds.
Yet another train valley set in @Eijolend's Arachnidverse 🙂 Continuing the trend of eightlegged cooperation, friendly alchemist spiders living nearby host free tasting sessions of their newest concoction - hot chocolate so good it feels like time stops while you are drinking it (patent pending). Stop by the Spider Cafe, get a steaming mug and watch our shiny Adiunkts do all the work. For spiders crave Cyber Crystals and don't allow chocolate drinks outside their nest... 🤔
2nd place: :tv2conductor: Thomas - :tvloco: Hot drink and cheesecake 2
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3223491876
12 minutes, keep an industry sped up with a Catalyst for 60 seconds, travel 500 tiles while an Inhibitor is working.
What does one get by combining Magnets, Cheese and moderate amounts of time dilation? An engaging train puzzle valley with quite a bit of planning and just enough time for your plans' execution. Spend your Magnets wisely, don't go chasing every bridge construction site and watch your hot drink of choice supplies 🙂
Indeed, thank you @Blathers for the Warehouse idea! 🙂
3rd place: :tv2conductor: LittleBear - :tvloco: Hot Chocolate and Soup
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3219021701
12 minutes, no wrong deliveries, keep an industry sped up with a Catalyst for 200 seconds.
And here we have our first recipe of Spider soup 🙂 Can be fed into a Catalyst as fuel, traded as a commodity for some hot chocolate, used to fill in old mining sites or just enjoyed during a long haul over the snowy plains of Hot Chocolate and Soup. Keep the trade going, industries sped up and Adiunkts running! 🙂
:tvhook: Bonus award nomination #1 - A new contestant: :tv2conductor: ManaFriendsmith - :tvloco: Lock and Load
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3235630499
15 minutes, SOFLTO, keep an industry sped up with a Catalyst for 240 seconds.
We have only 15 minutes before they flood the canal. And even though we can bribe the canal authorities with fuel to extend that time, other things require our immediate attention. Locomotive upgrades, Incremental Toll Station construction and following fees, keeping both Inhibitor and Catalyst in check, getting those Appliances to the other side - Lock and Load is a complex endeavor and a very satisfying puzzle to solve 🙂
:tvhook: Bonus award nomination #2 - Back from the Workshop: :tv2conductor: brunocharles - :tvloco: Around the motorway
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3222156427
11 minutes, DNSAT, travel 1000 tiles while an Inhibitor is working.
Terraforming, time freezing, not stopping trains (combined with fastest locomotives TV2 can offer)! So many things can go wrong, but luckily we have access to a Paperclip factory, and there's nothing you can't fix with some paperclips - pollution, itchy bears or even excessive clock elasticity 🙂 Tame the Electric Motors autotrain and make your deliveries, or pay in Gold ore to delay your inevitable win 🙂
:tvvagon: Our heartiest congratulations go to our winners! Please stand by for a message from our award distribution department.:tvloco:
Playing, exploring, assessing your creations inspired by recently added mechanics and industries was very fun. Our thank you goes to every level uploader, puzzle solver and train driver that keep Train Valley 2 Workshop going!
See you in a bit, friends!
