I am glad that the new island is ready now! It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. The new island is bigger and offers everything: Mountains, valleys, islands, meadows, forests ... Thanks to a new system, the vegetation is much denser and with better performance. The plants are still interactive. The grass is also prettier and denser.
When you open the inventory, you will now see a "Support Developer" window and a "Suggest Item Description" button. This is a test I want to do with the community. If you read an item description while playing and you think "I have a better idea", you can send the idea there. Right in the game.
New
- A brand new, huge island with high mountains, valleys.
- Many new tree species and plant species.
- In the sea there are now big seagrass tufts!
- New Item: Bone! There is currently no use for this.
- New resource: Flint! Find this valuable resource in 3 different locations (all located on stone-ground). Do not forget the pickaxe!
- Now you can also make axe, pickaxe and hammer from flint. They are much more durable and effective!
- There are now bones and goat skulls that can be found. There are places where wolves are stationary. These are especially good places to find bones, but it is dangerous.
- There are now 6 additional graphics settings: Terrain complexity, grass distance, grass density, tree distance, tree complexity and ocean quality.
- If you now fall a palm, there is a 25% chance that a coconut will fall down.
- You can now drink dirty water (swamp).
- New effect: Nausea! You get it by a chance of 50% if you drink dirty water. When sleeping, it disappears by a chance of 80%.
- New achievement: "Kill a Bear"!
- Axe and pickaxe are now preset in the action bar.
- Now you can suggest new item descriptions directly in the game.
Changed
- Many objects were enlarged and the number increased.
- Log entries are now displayed for 4 seconds instead of just 2 seconds.
Fixed
- The craft window now also displays the extensive tooltips.
Hint
- Sources spawn only in higher regions. Find one as fast as possible, they are easy to hear (water splashing).
- If you find a dead tree trunk, there are usually mushrooms nearby. Remember this place and leave the tree trunk lying.
