Hey Everyone,
I have been working a ton on the campaign so some updates may be smaller than others (this one is not huge) because time is being spent there...
That being said, I finally put in Building Portraits (I should have got them in a long time ago, but at least they are there now). And I spent a bunch of time on tooltips and the info windows. On top of that I started adding happiness modifiers for the building system. They are pretty minor right now, but they will start to become more prominent as the systems mature. Lastly educated citizens will now work faster, which give you a bit more reason to want to educate them.
Patch Notes:
- Added Building Portraits for each building. These have been put in for each menu/info screen.
- Added tooltips for every job. These can be found in the building info window by hovering over the name of the job. If there is any extra info you need on these jobs please let me know and I can try to add to them.
- Added a new unit art for higher education jobs (This actually got added last patch, on the teacher). Tax collectors now also uses this artwork.
- Fixed a bug that could occur when a game was Saved -> Loaded -> Saved -> Loaded and then the game could crash.
- If a units house is upgraded, and the unit has no education the unit will get a Happiness modifier of -2 "Wants Education"
- Teachers, Tax Collectors, and Legionnaires will now desire level 2 homes. If they do not live in a level 2 home they will get a happiness modifier of -2 "Undesireable Home". This same debuff will extend to other jobs later.
- Each level of education now speeds up working tasks by 5% (currently there is only 1 education level, but I hope to have at least 2 later). This at least gives some benefit to spending the time to educate your population.
- Tooltips on the unit inventory now work.
- Tooltips on the unit desire list now work.
- Cleaned up the Building Tooltip a bit.
- Cleaned up the Building Info Window a bit.
- Cleaned up the Building Buy Tooltip a bit.
- Cleaned up the unit info window a bit.
If you are enjoying the game, please take a second and put up a review of the game. It really does help me to keep momentum going :)
