Barbarian Challenges

Version 3.2.3 is up with a new hero and 12 new game modes:

- Barbarian hero with some unique starting stats and a new weapon
- 12 challenges to unlock the barbarian. These are all tough ones, meant for experienced players. Some of the challenges require that you adapt your tactics and use all means that the game provides.

I have done extensive play testing in the past two weeks to ensure all the challenges are beatable. But it's not easy, so don't expect to beat every one of these on your first try.

Beside that, there are many improvements and fixes:

- new weapons: Bomb Carrier, Barbarian Axe
- improved performance when there are many units on the screen
- improved the collision detection among items so they are less likely to overlap
- fixed text wrapping on the character selection screen
- fixed bug with the game exit confirmation dialog
- fixed occasional crash when a controller gets disconnected
- added some simple animations for the menus
- fixed netcode bug when raising another player with the Staff of the Dead
- fixed bug with petrified minions following player into the next room
- fixed bug when the minions would keep spawning in the boss rooms even though the boss is dead. This would happen if player had a boss level minion (Vampire, Skeleton King)
- fixed animation bug when throwing the Trickster's Axe

Version 3.2.4:
- fixes bug with item drops in Casual mode.

Version 3.2.5:
- changed the way the Voodoo dolls work. Now the link between the target and the doll is broken every time the voodoo effect expires (due to end of battle in the room where the target is or drinking the Dragonfire potion)

Version 3.2.6:
- fixed the bug when sometimes the game would not show when a remote player is ready on the hero selection screen for online games

Version 3.2.9:
- added an option to wait a few seconds before the game starts when all the players are ready (this should prevent situations when some players select their heroes too quickly - before everyone joins the game)
- fixed bug when heroes with low melee skill (ex. Sorceress) couldn't knock down enemies with the uppercut attack
- fixed netcode desync when different settings for item hover particles were used on different computers

Version 3.3.0:
- added network latency indicator (ping time). Player hosting the game can see it on the hero selection screen. If more than 2 computers are networked, this can be useful information to determine who should host the game. For example, if you have fast connection to the 2nd player and slow connection to the 3rd player, perhaps the 2nd player would be better to host the game if he has faster connection to the 3rd player.

Version 3.3.2:
- fixed the occasional crash when the game is over and you exit (or try to start a new game)

Version 3.3.3:
- added achievements for finishing the regular game with each of the heroes
- when there are many players playing and the screen is smaller than 1920x1080 the map would be shown under the player HUD on the pause screen. Since the map is semi-transparent, it is now drawn over the player HUD.
- you can now hold the pause control (ESC on keyboard, Start button on controllers) to see the player stats and potions/scrolls without having to pause the game
- fixed problem when multiple players play the daily challenge as a co-op game. The daily challenge score would overlap the player inventory. Now it gets drawn to the right of the last player.
- updated Chinese translation

The end of Early Access is near. I still want to add a bunch of new achievements and the Hard mode. Of course, the development won't stop once we leave Early Access, but we will be able to finally say that the game is feature complete.

Have fun playing!
