Chris Knott, Lead Animator:
Meduza - Piece of your Heart
Yuksek - Showbiz - purple disco machine edit.
Earth Wind and Fire - Shining Star.
Pertubator - Future Club.
Dave Oxford, Artist
I recently watched the Blackkklansman and liked the soundtrack. The track Blut Und Boden (Blood and Soil) captures the flavour of the film really well, I thought.
Well worth a watch and listen.
Prem Fatek, Artist:
One lil energy boost
Snake man by RichaadEB
And one intense orchestra song (except the original is not on spotify >:( , so have a base filled cover of it )
D.V.M.N(From "devilman crybaby") by falkkone
Rich Brooks, Coder:
White Lies - Ritual - Bigger Than Us
White Lies just released an album called Five, that seems pretty cool. But the first couple album are still their best imho. This one is from Ritual and is typical of their sound. Love it!
Radiohead - The Butcher EP - The Butcher
The is an obscure Radiohead track, released as an extra for those that bought King of Limbs from their website. It's definitely a big out there, but if you're not tapping your foot or nodding your head by the end of it, then there's something wrong with you.
Gomez - Bring It On - Whippin' Piccadilly
Classic band. Classic song.
Lauran Carter, Community Manager:
MegaRan - Splash Woman.
A whole song about the first ever female boss to appear in Mega Man? Yes. Please.
Also, I've very much still on the Mac Miller train. It's been a full month of Mac for me now, and I have no intention of moving on. I won't add another track to the playlist, but do go and listen to more if you feel so inclined. I love him. I am sad.
Craig Laycock, Brand Manager:
When Nik Kershaw wrote The Riddle he succeeded in creating the most confusing banger in pop history. Take the lyrics, “Near a tree by a river, there’s a hole in the ground/ Where the Old Man of Aran goes around and around”. I’ve done some research and I can confirm the whole premise is absolute tripe. Tripe that I can’t stop listening to and that I’m now inflicting to ruin your day, and this playlist. Damn your songwriting hands, Nik Kershaw!
Ben Hymers, Lead Coder:
This week I have just had my big playlist on shuffle. The shuffle gods have chosen this song more often than all the other songs: Les Fleur, by 4hero. It's a lovely tune :)
Mark Webley, Director:
I've been listening to Gorillaz: The Now Now pretty bloody excellent.
*editors note - I've chosen the first track so as not to bombard you with Gorillaz!*
Gary Carr, Creative Director:
Adolescent Sex - Japan
Up Around The Bend - Hanoi Rocks
Harry Puttock:
Tokyo -Brockhampton
Your Dog - Soccer Mommy
Vibrant - Brasstracks
