Adventure Awaits
For The King has officially launched into Early Access and is now available for download. We here at IronOak Games are super excited to share this challenging strategic RPG with you. From it's inception over 3 years ago as a fantasy boardgame prototype, through a successful Kickstarter campaign, and up till the present Early Access, For The King has been and continues to be a labor of love for us.
Community and Feedback are the most important thing to us and the most valuable tool we have for building a fun and engaging game. Early Access is your chance to join in the discussions, help shape the game, and leave your mark in the land of Fahrul. Whether you're posting on the Steam Discussion Boards, our Official Forums, or our newly minted Discord Channel, we want to hear your ideas and feedback.
What To Expect
Keep in mind, For The King is still an Early Access title, which means you're bound to run into the occasional bug. The online experience is still in Beta but it's currently our number one priority. In fact, we've already pushed out a patch addressing stability issues and will be sending out a significant update in the coming weeks. Rest assured the solo adventures and local coop are very stable. If you were excited solely for the online coop aspects, we recommend waiting until our first major update.
We'll also be frequently adding more and more content over the course of EA, hopefully with some of your input as well as fine tuning the later acts in the adventure. Another thing looming on the horizon is the Free Adventure Mode, for those looking for a more relaxed sandbox type mode free from the shackles of Chaos.
The road is just beginning for us and For The King. Thanks to all our backers for your support over the past year and a half and to all the future Early Access participants.
