Hello survivors!
Thanks for your interest and eagerness to play The Wild Eight.
Recently after internal playtests our team decided to fully rethink in-game upgrade system. According to our estimates – along with other game improvements – it will take from a month to two of the development and bugfixes. We believe that it’s wrong to promise any exact day release until all the uncertainty will go away. Keeping you updated and sharing all the news is the right thing to do though. All in all, the game is quite close to the release.
This week we made one more highly important decision we want to share. But first take a deeeep breath :)
The Wild Eight is coming out as a full release on Steam (yes, no Early Access). The main reason for it is to show our devotion to the project and the community, as well as to convince you that the game will be fully playable and enjoyable right after the release. However, it does not a bit negate that we will continue the development after pressing the release button – expect regular updates with more items, story, and modes.
But it’s in the future. Our only goal in present is to make a great game you’ll love.
