Abyss Floors 0.5.45
Siege Night - every Saturday
Territory sieges now happen once a week: every Saturday, 18:00-19:00 UTC, all 8 keeps at the same time.
- Signing up: a clan Leader or Officer declares on a keep from the Territory screen (up to 4 keeps per clan). Registration closes when the siege starts at 18:00. A declaration made during the hour counts for next Saturday.
- Who fights: the keep's owner and the clans that declared. Only members who were in the clan when the siege opened take part, and only characters at or above the keep's level (never below level 25).
- The battlefield: during the hour the whole location around a keep is open PvP, including rooms that are normally safe (they show a red "Siege - PvP" badge). Entering a besieged location locks you in for 3 minutes.
- Who wins: the clan with the most siege kills. One player can give up at most 3 counted kills to the same clan. No kills at all? The clan with the most fighters present over the last 5 minutes. A tie keeps the current owner.
- Fair play: leaving a siege duel (logging out or changing room) counts as a defeat. If the server restarts during the hour, that week's sieges are cancelled and every keep stays with its owner.
- Your action plan never walks you into a besieged location during the hour.
- The Territory screen has been redesigned, and the help book has new siege chapters.
A tidier market
- One row per item. Pick an item to see every offer, cheapest per piece first.
- Gear and jewellery: buy one, ten, or as many as you can afford, cheapest first.
- After a purchase you always see the result, and "Sold out" shows when the last offer is gone.
- Phones and small windows: the lists no longer collapse or hide the buttons.
Quality of life
- Right-click menu on items (press and hold on a phone): equip, wear a ring on either hand, use or auto-use, learn a recipe, enchant / upgrade / re-roll, list on the market, sell, dismantle, details.
- The chat Send button counts down until you can post again on that channel (Global 30 s, Zone 15 s, Clan 5 s). What you typed stays in the box.
- The vendor buys everything at a fair price: basic materials 2-4 gold, crafted materials at the value of their ingredients, other materials at a quarter of their market value, recipes 100 / 150 / 200 gold.
- Sell All is careful now: it only sells common materials, recipes you already know and plain gear below Rare. It never sells enchanted or upgraded gear. Anything else asks you once.
- Daily Quests: the "ready to claim" number lights up the moment a quest is done, and right after you log in.
- The enchant level (like +3) now shows before the item name everywhere.
- Clan buildings show their upkeep as "gold / hour".
Fixes
- Offline farming pays properly again. It used to price your time away as if your character had no gear, so high-level characters earned very little offline. Now it uses your real character: gear, stats, and the room you farm, at your offline rate (50%, up to 100% with the Bedroom).
- Fixed rare cases where items or gold could be duplicated or lost when actions overlapped with a market sale, a trade or a reward.
- "Bag full" for rewards: if your bag is full when you claim a reward, you now see "Bag full" and the reward waits for you. Rewards always arrive as their own stack.
- Clans: creating or disbanding a clan now waits about a second for the save. A clan change that cannot be saved is undone and you are told. Promotions, demotions and transfers: up to 8 at once, then one every 3 seconds.
- During the siege hour nobody can trade with a character fighting in the siege room they stand in.
- Chat flood protection: floods of whispers, friend requests, clan invites or trade requests are held back. Friends and clanmates are never held back. On a slow connection the game skips old chat lines instead of disconnecting you.
World #2: compensation week
Offline farming on World #2 paid too little from 5 October until this update. To make up for it:
- For 7 days from this update, offline farming on World #2 pays 100%, whatever your Bedroom level, in any room your character can survive. Home shows when the week ends, and the welcome-back screen tells you what was paid.
- 3 days of Premium for every World #2 player who had a character before this announcement, in the coming days. Premium belongs to your account, so it works on every world. If you only ever played through Steam, sign in on the website with Steam to see it.
Thank you for playing, and see you on Saturday at 18:00 UTC.
