I am Vlad and I made this in C++.
I've been using the mainstream art tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Blender, Maya, 3dSMax and CSP for at least ten years and they are great. In fact they have so much functionality that I don't actually need, but I have to pay for every single month.
This app Elqori was born from my frustration and desire to make something my own, to be independent of these subscription models and AI tokens/credits. I want to focus on making art whether it's 3d hard surface modeling or digital portraits or anything in between.
So I became obsessed with escaping the addiction these tools created and make my own, super lightweight and functional app that reflects my workflow.
Now I am happy to launch Elqori as a one time payment app that has 3d modeling, 2d animation and 2d painting/drawing all intertwined to just make you 1000% more effective.
You're not interested in 3d part, fine. You want just to animate, fine. You don't have a tablet (Wacom) fine.
It runs on a potato and it gives you currently anything you need to start drawing.
My goal is to add functionality and "hide it" so the screen will not be cluttered, but for those who want those options they'll be availabe in a separate menu.
Please please plaese let me know what works, what doesn't and what you would like to see next.
I will 100% take your feedback into account and add it as a patch.
Oh yes all future updates from today into eternity will FREE. No DLC's no subscriptions... nothing.
