Hello Hunters,
Thank you for joining us in welcoming the Lion yesterday, for posting your harvest screens, as well as your bug reports and your feedback!
There are a couple of issues in the current version that we want to address sooner than later:
- The issues on internal organs on Roe Deer, Mule Deer, Roosevelt Elk and Reindeer have been fixed. This led to vital shots, especially on lungs, not registering correctly.
- Buffalo footprints are no longer displayed as Lion footprints
- Fixed a crash when a player harvests another player’s downed Lion in multiplayer (and switches to fur view from X-ray)
- Fixed an issue with Lion always stepping forward during a confrontation
We have seen more reports regarding other issues, but we want to get this update out as soon as possible, mostly due to the faulty organ set up.
We also changed the wording of the spine shot rework, especially the quick kill buff. For clarification, the time threshold has been increased from 5 to 8 seconds. This change is unrelated to damage done to double lung shots.
In order to get the maximum score, always consider your caliber, the effective range of your ammunition, what organs to hit and your consecutive harvest bonus.
We will keep you updated about the progress and of course when this update will hit.
The PC will most likely get this update slightly earlier than the consoles.
All the best and keep the feedback coming!
