The first Alienshire Playtest is planned for October.
This will be a small-scale test focused on the core gameplay - harvesting biomass, producing units and fighting the enemy AI.
The Playtest build is deliberately compact, with limited resources, close mothership positions and faster production than the full game. The goal is to test the basic gameplay and enemy behaviour rather than represent the final scale of Alienshire.
The Playtest has been submitted for Steam review. I'll post another announcement when it is ready to play.
