We're happy to announce our new indie project, Demidoff Corp, an atmospheric 2D metroidvania that combines classic souls-like mechanics and the authentic setting of Ural folk tales!
The world of Demidoff Corp is inspired by the Ural folk tales by the famous writer Pavel Bazhov. Characters and creatures in the game are based on the figures from his short stories, whilst the plot centres on a real historical figure, the industrialist Nikita Demidov, founder of the famous dynasty of Ural entrepreneurs.
About Demidoff Corp
Welcome to the mystical world of Ural folk tales, where you must uncover the secrets held within Demidov’s Tower. Explore the historical Ural with its icy mining tunnels, mysterious lakes, dense forests, and Demidov’s estates, which harbor many unsolved mysteries.
While the factories continue to emit smoke day and night, a magical affliction is beginning to spread throughout the region. You play as a fluffy retired royal agent who sets off on an urgent mission to the ends of the earth to investigate what is going on in Demidov’s estates and report the whole truth to the Tsar. But anyone who sticks their nose into other people’s secrets risks becoming part of a mystery themselves.
