A better name for this update might have been "Most Bugs Fixed Ever, And Then Some", for there was a lot of time for bug fixes this week, and there are also some very cool new menu features.
Menus
- The menu buttons have gotten new visuals.
- The game now has 5 save slots, so you can start multiple games at the same time.
- If you restart a game from a recent seed, you'll find that the game has stored the generated data from that run, which means you don't have to wait for the same levels to generate again.
- There is a new 'retry' button in the game over screen that lets you dive into the same dungeon as quickly as possible.
- However, you might notice however that your old screenshots for the achievements have disappeared. This is because some changes to how and where these screenshots are saved. Over time they should refill with the as you preform those achievements again.
In-game features
- We now have a new journal. It collects the hints you receive in the bar, as well as texts you find in books, and so on. It is somewhat rudimentary still, and likely to expand as we are hearing about your experiences with it.
- If you discover forges, alchemy labs, magic desks, and altars, special symbols will show up on the dungeon overview map. The symbols are somewhat small, we will try and figure out how that can be improved.
- Dragging items into you backpack (the small version of the inventory) now takes into account the exact spot you dragged the item too.
Character creation
- You can now chose between different hairstyles for the hero.
- The wizard's hat assumes the same color as the your cloak.
Game Balance
- All enemies now trigger traps (this will probably require a future AI update to try and avoid traps).
- Turrets on blazing levels have a very high chance of being fire based.
- AI is less likely to loose track of the hero.
- Summoned skeletons are destroyed when their summoner is destroyed.
- Ghosts now fear fire.
- Gargoyles are immune to poison, but take damage from corrosion.
- More spells trigger Myst.
- Burning and flying creatures cannot ignite grasses and low vegetation.
- You no longer heal 1 hp from drinking water.
- You no longer heal 2 hp from drinking hot water.
- You can no longer place items into chests that curse when taking something out of it.
Bug Fixes
- Improves panning of environmental sounds.

So what's next
This still is not the end of the list of bugs, but it is slinking quite fast now. We've also been working on a Mac build, but are running into some technical issues (the game runs, but the game and music stutters). We'll keep working on both.
The biggest things that are on the near horizon are now improved controller support, improvements to the prayer/offering system, and one more content update for the release.
So stay tuned, and keep reporting bugs and giving other feedback
