You guys have been very helpful posting bugs and sending in saves over the past couple of weeks. To thank you we're now releasing a new update that fixes a whole bunch of the things you reported.
This new update fixes the following bugs (and then some):
- Wind stones and containers save their location and orientation.
- Fixes an issue with the howling wind theme.
- Water based magic weapons don't passively lose energy outside of water.
- You can equip and unequip items while swimming.
- Fixes issue that prevented chests from being spawned.
- Turrets and Spinners ca no longer be stunned.
- Spinners will not activate with drain magic about.
- Weapons that are dropped while being dragged due to a chest closing no longer speed up.
- Fixes issue with pedestals that have marked revealed by darkness or drain magic gas.
- Fixes a number of textual bugs.
- Bridges should no longer seperate fire and water, fire and chasms, or water and chasms.
- Fixes a number of issues with Sprites.
- Fixes issue with negative staves being spawned as a reward.
- Improves effect of Drain Magic on spell casting and retribution abilities.
- Fixes eye glitch with hulking rats.
- You can now throw things from pedestals (without moving it to your inventory first).
- Throwing key items from pedestals controlling doors will lock that door.
- Replacing another object on a pedestral controling a door with the key opens the door (without it shutting again).
- No longer can you grab thrown items out of the air.
In addition there have been some gameplay tweaks:
- Kobold thieves can steal gold.
- Certain bosses no longer have quest items, instead they guard the chest that contain those items.
This does not exhaust the bug list (it does reduce it significantly, though). There are a lot of graphical bugs that need to be attended and we've ignored most polish and game balance issues for now. We will keep fixing bugs, obviously, but we'll also start looking at Mac builds and improved controller support this week.
In the meantime, please keep sending in bugs and saves, because it really helps a lot.
