A patch has been released to make the tutorial less violent:
Release 1.02
- Added more info to bleeding tool-tip
- Reduced Giant Sloth speed by 66% on land
- Removed initial animal spawns so your tribe can arrive in peace
- Changed aggressive animals to only appear after end of tutorial
