Hey, fellow wizards!
We've got a couple of good things in this patch—mainly a pretty nasty crash to desktop, along with a few quality of life changes.
Fictorum v1.1.03 Patch Notes
- Fixed an issue where piercing a tree with a spell would sometimes cause a crash to desktop
- 100% of a spell's initial mana cost will be refunded when canceled
- Vault can now be activated in midair and can be auto-cast by double-jumping (can be disabled in the options menu)
- The chapter map tooltip will be much more obvious when hovering over a location that either currently is or will soon be controlled by the Inquisition
- Fixed an issue that could have caused characters to find an invisible platform to stand on
- Removed a house on SmallVerdant that was placed in the miasma by accident
- Removed a shrub that was growing in a fireplace
- Removed some more occurrences of sideways grass
- The mesh for the stove in the Tavern will now properly spawn.
- Additional mana cost on runes is now in red
- Inventory will now close when hitting "ESC" or start, instead of opening the options menu
- Items in the last row will now be properly sold instead of equipped while holding shift
- Trees have improved physics and slight improvements to destruction
- Spellblade's sound effects should now be properly tied to the effect volume slider
- Some invulnerable trees have been replaced and made destructible
