As I get closer to release here some more cool things are put into place. A new screenshot has been posted showing some of the upgrades on the ship. Hanger bays no longer are just on the ship and for looks. They actually can launch fighters now to help defend you ship! These hangers need to be purchased in shipyards on stations. Laser turret has been enhanced and can now be upgraded as well, for example a double gun turret for added fire power. More upgrades include modules such as fuel tanks, energy storage, personnel quarters and on board agricultural dome. You don't just select any of these upgrades, they actually will appear on your ship ;)
