New update! Still building away but after each update I feel the game gets a little closer to what I originally wanted it to be. Here are the details...
- Ship movement has greatly changed and is now more realistic. Thrust power is selected and set from 1 to 3, then applied in the direction the player selects. The more thrust power the stronger the impulse burst will be and the faster the ship will move. Each level of thrust power expends 4 fuel. So for example if player selects 3 then it will expend 12 fuel. Turning still expends only 1 fuel. Once the player ship is moving, it will continue to move until all stop is selected. This allows the player to "drift" for extended periods of time while not burning any fuel.
- Two new controls have been added to ship panel to set thrust power.
- Improved text help on some ship panel indicators.
- Removed warp and cool down texts on flashing lights.
- Fixed ability to buy building materials in a space port on a station.
- Tropical planets background is fixed and will now display correctly.
- Fixed planetary build and facilities can now be built as intended.
Work continues my friends, I have some great ideas for the next update! Until then have a great weekend. Now entering jump in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, engaged!
