🛠️ 0.10.1 - Polishing the Playtest 🛠️
The Soulchain Playtest has been out for almost a week now, and we've loved hearing everything you guys have to say about the game. This little update fixes some bugs and adds some QoL changes based on the feedback we've received on the Discord so far. Keep it coming!
✨ Changes ✨
- Small changes to level design in Somewhere Soft
- Player will now be able to extend their chain much faster
- Makes deadzone on controller aiming stick a little bigger
- Changed default controls to better align with other platformers and to bring the cancel button closer to the others. If you have already opened the game, your controls won't change, and you'll have to select reset in the controls options to apply the new default
- Made a trick discovered by speedrunners a little more consistent...
- Cutscene audio has been slightly tweaked
🐛 Bugfixes 🐛
- Fixes a bug where the background and particles for a new area wouldn't load properly if you walked back during a transition room
- Fixes an unclear translation in Portuguese
