Hello Duck Lovers! 🦆💥
Thanks to your awesome feedback, Demo v1.3 is officially live on Steam! In this update, we’ve packed in fun new mechanics while polishing the overall controls and technical performance for a much smoother experience.
Here is what's new in v1.3:
✨ Custom Trail Effects for Every Duck
Every duck now has its own unique, custom-designed trail effect matching its personality! Leave your mark as you glide around.
🎈 Deflate & Re-Inflate Mechanic (Ctrl Key)
Is your duck losing air? Press the Ctrl key to deflate your duck, then inflate it right back into shape!
💥 New Squish Physics & Shockwaves
Ducks now feature realistic (and funny!) plastic squish physics and particle effects when jumping and landing.
Jumping now triggers a powerful shockwave that shakes nearby objects and props!
🔥 Dragon Fire is More Dangerous!
The dragon’s fiery breath no longer burns just the ducks—it now sets surrounding environmental models on fire too!
🎮 Revamped Input & Controller Support
Input settings have been reworked for 100% Xbox Controller compatibility.
Added Zoom In / Zoom Out functionality to both the Spectator Camera and Xbox Controller bindings.
Added a Mouse Snap feature for easier duck selection. When your cursor gets close to a duck, it automatically snaps right onto it!
🔊 Enhanced Audio & Movement Particles
New movement sounds and visual particle effects have been added for both land and water movement.
🚀 Performance & Optimization
Overall performance optimizations have been implemented for a smoother, higher-FPS gameplay experience.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT NOTE (For Controller Users):
Because controller shortcuts and input bindings have been updated, please go to Settings > Controls in the main menu and click "Reset to Default" when you launch the update.
Have fun playing! Don't forget to share your feedback and thoughts with us in the Steam Community Hub! 🦆🔥
