MISC has its own executable format called "EMIRU."
The Executable Minimal Image Relocatable Unary
E: has a start and can be jmp'd to
M: doesn't include overhead, such as relocation tables
I: is a set of bytes loaded directly into memory, at a program base, by the kernel
R: supports address relocation at runtime without recompilation
U: it is its own freestanding thing ("unary" used as a noun, similar to "binary")
The format is kept as simple as possible, which is why it doesn't have a reloc table in itself. It is already supported by Crosstalk's Clang distribution, which is bundled with the game.
