Good afternoon, Wizards! We’re ready to start rolling out this week’s patch!
Today’s update is packed to the brim with holiday cheer. We’ve added Santa hats, Milk & Cookie consumables, wild Reindeer NPCs and a few other goodies to keep the winter spirit alive in Ignus. Track down world chests to loot the new items. Every item drops at a 100% drop rate!
More importantly, as mentioned in yesterday’s preview, we have some significant netcode tweaks on the game’s backend. Players should see improvements in both lag and load times, and users with slower connections should experience less difficulty with their initial attempts to join servers

- Implemented several backend netcode refactors to improve server connectivity
- Milk and Cookies added to world chests
- Santa Hats added to world chests
- Deer NPCs have received holiday re-design
- Enemy NPCs will now properly aggro when attacked from afar
- NPCs now less likely to get stuck on terrain/foliage
- Fixed a bug causing tamed NPC HUD to display incorrect information
- Fixed a bug in the chest menu causing all item counts to display as 0
- Fixed a bug that caused some players to lose ownership of structures after a house disbanded
