The spooky season is upon us and I’m here to see if you’re on the sweet or naught list…Wait. I’m getting ahead of myself. ‘Trick-or-Treat’ is what you ask for a delicious treat, have you been naughty or are you in for something sweet? Starting today there will be some Trick-or-Treat locations throughout some of the servers giving out in-game rewards. You will need to find the locations hidden to reap the rewards.

That’s right, everybody make a scream! ‘Trick-or-Treat’ is what you ask for a delicious treat, have you been naughty or are you in for something sweet? Starting October 7th there will be some Trick-or-Treat locations throughout the servers with designated Gifting Ghouls giving out some in-game rewards.

These give events are limited to each Friday throughout October (Oct 7, 14, 21, 28)

Hocus Pokus! Spooky Building Contest

Dear Magical Folks of Citadel,

This is the time we’ve all been waiting for, as the darkness draws closer with each day the moon is growing and the spooky feelings are lingering. We’re hosting a building contest for all of our creators out there. Nothing brings out the creepy crawlies like a well-dressed castle full of tricks and maybe even a few treats.

We’re hosting a Halloween-inspired building contest that’ll be held from Oct 3 - Oct 31. You have all the time to create one or as many entries as possible during this time frame. We encourage you to build with a team to create something awfully spooky, however, both solo or team-builders are welcome to participate. We have the details listed below:

Duration

You have from October 3rd to October 31st so submit your Halloween-themed builds.

Rewards

There will be two top winners:

One will be crowned the winner from our dev team
Second winner will be chosen by the community (the top five builds will be chosen from the dev team and will be up for vote by the community to crown the winner)

For the two winners (Dev team + Community vote) will receive the following in-game items:

Banquo's Shroud
Icabod Brain
Sweet Crowberry Gum x 100
Sugar Sprite Stickets x 100
Chocolate Kaltbitur Crisp x 100
Chocolate Buffalo Chips x 100 + Participation prizes as well

Participation rewards for ALL participants:

Abominasion Mask
Both ghost skins (white and red)
Sweet Crowberry Gum x 50

Rules

You may build alone or within a team
You’re welcome to build on any server, but we encourage PVE servers as we can not provide protection if people choose to participate in PVP servers.
That being said if you choose to build on a PVE server but want your reward to go onto a PVP server we can make those arrangements
This contest is open to both PC and Console players
If you’re building with a team your whole team will be awarded all the in-game item prizes
Players are free to build anything they like, but will need to keep in mind that builds must be appropriate and adhere to Blue Isle Studios community guidelines (do not be crude)
You’re not limited to creating a castle, the possibilities are endless
You must submit your build no later than Oct 31st 11:59pm EST to be considered

We are running a Halloween event the month of October, but we also have some extra goodies to distribute to our servers. We’re looking for some community members to help distribute these gifts with their fellow comrades every Friday.
If this is something you’d like to take part in, we’re running these events between 4-5pm EST every Friday in October (Oct, 7, 14, 21, and 28).
What you need to do:
You will be given some halloween in-game items between the hour of 4-5pm EST (this is when you’ll be given the items, you can distribute them as you see fit/when players are online)
You are responsible for giving these items out to players in the server
You’re welcome (and encouraged) to give these items out at a designated area for trick-or-treaters
If you are a streamer we would greatly encourage you to stream the rewards distribution (optional)

Rewards:
For our helpers we’ll give you each the ‘Red Ghost’ as a reward for distributing these items fairly within your respective servers.

Our Citadel: Forged With Fire All-Out Warfare Building Contest has now started. We wanted to update you on some of the rules and details about the event that may have been missed in the first post.
Server Setup

The event server is called “Citadel: All-Out Warfare Building Contest”
The server will be a 100m throne range one
Everyone will be auto-leveled to 60 to give players all a fair shot and no grinding
There will be a 5x resource gathering in effect to make things easier
The server will be PVE to start and starting August 8th at 11am EST it will switch to PVP and the raid time will be until 9pm EST that night.
Rules For the Event
There will need to be a representative of a team or solo players participating in the event must send us an email with the following before Aug 8: [email protected]
Your IN-Game Name
If you’re building with a team or solo (if building with a team please add their in-game names)
Your coordinates for your base so we can go in on the 7th to check out the builds before the pvp contest
This is a temporary server and will close after the event.
For a dragon to count towards your score they must be..
Inside a tame container. (this is to stop people hiding them around the world)
Said tame container must be located within the leader's throne's 100m range.
Teams are allowed to build multiple bases but only the group leaders' throne will be considered for "Best looking" and overall winners.
The prizes for the contest will be split among the winners, so if you’re in a group it will be divided equally, so if the price is a $60CAD Steam gift card and you’re a solo player you’ll get $60CAD, but if you’re playing with 2 players you’ll each get $30CAD and so on.

Greetings Wizards, Warlocks, Witches and all magical beings,
It’s great to see you all again! All of our magical folks are invited to take part in a new community event as we move into the latest Citadel sale. This event will help spread more love to the amazing Citadel community by welcoming new and veteran players alike.
Our strongest builders will compete in a spell-binding competition as we enter a new age of magic! With new magical beings trickling into the land of Ignus, we are holding a building contest with a PvP element at the end that pits the most powerful forces against one another.
Details
This event will start out as a PvE event; you’ll be tasked to build up your base for an all out war happening on the last day. In order to be crowned victorious you’ll need to acquire and hold the most dragon tames in your tame chest(s) at the end.
For the building contest you will have from Aug 1 to Aug 7 to make your base, create the most spell-tastic base you can, and we’ll judge the winner at the end of the event. On Aug 8, the server will switch over to PvP and the battle will begin!
Participation:
You may build alone or within a team
All players will be auto-leveled to 60 in order to be fair for everyone
Everyone will be building in the same server: Citadel: All-Out Warfare Building Contest*
This is a PC contest
PvE Winner Creative Build:
The winner of the PvE portion will be crowned whoever has the most creative build
PvP Winner Tame Counter:
The winner of the PVP contest will be based on how many dragons tames in their tame chest are left in order to crown a winner
Infernal Dragon - 3 points
Black Dragon - 2 points
Flame Dragon - 1 point
Duration
Building Start time: August 1 at 11am EST
PVP Start time: August 8 at 11am EST
We’ve set up a server ‘Citadel: All-Out Warfare Building Contest’ where players are able to start fresh on August 1st to ensure everyone has a fair chance. Players must build within those times in order to qualify.
Phase 1
All players will be auto-leveled to 60
Starting Aug 1st to 7th the game mode is strictly PvE (building and gathering tames)
Your goal is to have as many tames at the end of the PvE session on Aug 7 before switching over to PvP on Aug 8 at 11am EST.
Our team will go in and review the builds and award the winner of the best build
Phase 2
Aug 8th Full PvP and Siege starting at 11am EST
End of the day server will be shutdown and teams will have to notify us of where all their tame containers are located (to the best of your ability, coordinates will help)
Our team will go in count up the tames inside the containers, whoever has the most points win!
Prizes
Grand Prizes
PvP First Prize: $60 Steam Card
Best Looking Build Prize: $60 Steam Card
Participation Prizes
All participants will receive a free key to LEAP

Imagination Beyond Limits: Building Contest
Calling all Mages, Wizards and magical beings of Ignus, we have a new community event for all of you! Starting July 5th, we are hosting a new magical building contest to see all your amazing creative builds in Citadel. And of course, to make this magical competition a bit more sp
Calling all Mages, Wizards and magical beings of Ignus, we have a new community event for all of you! Starting July 5th, we are hosting a new magical building contest to see all your amazing creative builds in Citadel. And of course, to make this magical competition a bit more spicy we’ve added some prizes for the most creative builds. Please check out the rules below! ٩(◦`꒳´◦)۶
Prizes
The top three builds will receive one gift card (for their prefered system: Steam/Xbox/PS4)* * First Place: $100 * Second Place: $75 * Third Place: $50
3 Runner up gift cards of $25
All participants who finish their builds and submit them will have their logo/emblem in-game**
Timeline
Building starts on July 5 and will run until July 23, entries must be submitted by July 25, anything after that will not be counted.
Community judging will take place between July 26 - 28, winners will be announced on July 30th.

Judging
The community can vote for their top favourite builds, the most popular three builds will then be judged by the Blue Isle Studios team to determine the top three spots.
Players will be judged on how creative the build is, if dialogue is needed to help explain the build please be sure to include that in your entry
All entities will be posted in the Community run Discord for players to vote on their favourite entries
Social media can be used to help promote your build and encourage your community to join in
Players are allowed to use anything in-game (without breaking any rules) to build their structure, be as creative as possible
* If players enter in groups the prices will be split distributed between the group members
** Logos/emblems will need to be 2-tones to be submitted in-game. They will be added into the PC build only at this time.

Fixed an issue with the delete confirmation not working on non-replicated structures
Optimized replication property compares for thrones
Prevent adding a tame unless you have a tame in the list (duplication fix)

Good morning Magical Folks, today we implemented a small update to address some issues from the last build. Check below on some of the issues we’re addressing in today’s patch:
Improved stability and fixed various crashes reports
Fixed boss flees in Umbrus
Fixed tamed NPCs not being interactable on custom servers
Fixed bug where summoner essence did not properly disappear when harvested
Updated tame trough awarded tame time, clamped to max tame time
Arcane Step banned in boss caves
Added dyeable regions for newer weapons

Fixed unattenuated turret sound on listen
Fixed hole in rocks
