Patch Notes - 02/07/2018 - Griefer Bases Removed

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time once again to release another weekly patch! Today we bring you an offering of bug fixes, UI improvements and other goodies to continue our Early Access quest of refining the Citadel experience.

As you may have seen from the various notices leading up to now, the primary focus of today’s update is to definitively end the practice of building glitched bases under the map and in caves blocking dungeons. These bases require the use of unsanctioned glitching to be built, and are often made by toxic players looking to gain an unfair advantage for the sake of griefing. For full details of what has changed you can read this post.

On top of this big change, we’ve also made a number of improvements and bug fixes for today’s release: The server browser has been updated to filter out mismatched servers, new keybindings have been added for the build menu to accommodate users without a scroll wheel, Lightning Storm has been fixed, and more.

Check out the full list below for the full details, and as always give the servers some time to come back up with the latest version of the game. Please feel free to share your feedback of this update here or on the forums, and we hope to see you in Ignus soon!

  • All bases under the map and in caves have been removed, and checks have been applied to prevent them from being built in the future

  • Fixed a bug that caused Lightning Storm to not cast with consistency
