We are back for more!
Deputies, The Halfbrick Show is back with Part 2 of our Guncrypt gameplay challenge, in which we test yet another two builds that aren't exactly... optimised.
Before we dive in, thank you for all the support during Steam Next Fest. Seeing so many players jump into the demo, wishlist the game, and share their wild builds has been incredible.
A huge thank you as well to all the content creators who have played, streamed, clipped, covered, or shared Guncrypt so far. We’ve loved seeing your runs, reactions, and wonderfully cursed bullet combinations. Keep 'em coming!
And now, for the Magazine Challenge...
Last time, we spun the wheel, locked ourselves to one bullet type, and tried to survive the crypt with whatever build fate handed us. If you don't remember the rules we published last week, check out our last post.
This time, Carmen is still clinging to the lead, Aiden is forced into a Damage-only run, and Fran shows us what happens when a QA player gets their hands on a Lightning build.
(Spoiler: it's exactly what you'd expect).
Watch the episode to encounter rocket fusions, skeleton swarms, questionable mouse ergonomics, Armsadillo getting absolutely bullied, and one final score that makes the rest of us look deeply unprepared.
And, of course, if you have a challenge you want us to try next, send it our way.
How to share your run, if you dare:
Play the free Guncrypt Demo.
Complete a Challenge run (dying heroically also counts)
Post: bullet type + floor depth + loadout screenshot
Format your comment like this: POOL: Lightning DAMAGE: 8935 | And don't forget to add a screenshot!
If you’re playing the Guncrypt demo, vanilla or otherwise, keep sharing your screenshots, scores, clips, streams, and run links in the Community Hub. We love to see what you’re building.
And if you want to show your support, remember to share Guncrypt with your friends (and foes). Every wishlist counts, allowing the game to reach more players, and for the Goblins to keep playing with dynamite.
