COG FAQ 3 SEASON

COG, the third quarter FAQ [hot questions reply highlights]

Hello everyone, I'm Chief. Since the COG has been released since the past six months. This six months we PG studio to do something, what effect, the future and ready to do? How to do it? These players are particularly concerned about the issue, I will be in this FAQ to do a unified reply. I hope this will help you.

(All of the following questions are from the player questions)

players A: Will you work in the end of this six months in the workplace? Is not getting our money is not ready to continue to do? [/ h1] Chief: Since March 7 on the line, we probably spent a full three months is a variety of BUG, crash, flashback fight. Eventually we pass the 100 days to solve most of the problems and optimize the completion. Of course, there may be some BUG, but these BUG should be on the line and the initial BUG amount can not be the same language. After that 3 months, we are basically in the perfect plot of the various new systems and new content. Such as event system, black exchange system, carrier system and so on. And the story is exactly what the three months to complete. In simple terms, we spent the first three months to solve most of the BUG, optimizing a number of anti-human defects (of course, there are some places also need to continue to optimize). It took three months to complete all the new content and the new system in all the plot patterns.

player B: sandbox mode in the end when will be out? [/ h1] Chief: By the end of August we vote on the players group results show that the vast majority of players look forward to the sandbox model rather than disaster mode. So in early September we decided to play the disaster pattern from the ontology removed, fully into the sandbox mode of development work, as soon as possible so that everyone play to the sandbox mode. So, sandbox mode is expected to meet with you this year.

player C: what new elements will appear in sandbox mode? [/ h1] Chief: According to the current sandbox model of the overall prototype design point of view, in addition to the plot mode has some of the system, the sandbox mode will also join the new combat mode (players can control the role of shooting), the new trajectory and weapons System, the new gang battle system, the influence of the street system. But it is worth mentioning that the sandbox mode will not appear in any story mode event task. In addition, the sandbox mode is open mode. That does not require players plot mode clearance, ready to open the mode of play. Finally, in the sandbox mode, the player can create the protagonist himself. From the color, hair, hair color, eyes, pupil color, to the beard, under the beard, mask, decoration can be designed by the player DIY.

player D: when this game is considered the official version? [/ h1] Chief: The current version of the sandbox mode is 0.9X. So, after the sandbox mode is complete (and fixes a lot of BUG) will officially end EA, upgrade to the official version.

Player E: How long will the studio work? Will not do half off the road, right? [/ h1] Chief: Not long after, but it will be done in sandbox mode. Do not worry.

Player C: Why are i in the community you are regardless of us? [/ h1] Chief: First of all to the community, paste it in the post to ask you a great apology. Indeed, we did not spend too much energy on community operations because I thought community operations required at least one full-time team member to maintain. And this point for our four small team is too much for the luxury. So, we are now beginning to take time every day to collect the problem in the community, and then unified response and resolution.

players F: why do you come out of each version of the team have so many BUG? [/ h1] Chief: Indeed, so much BUG comes mainly from our lack of rigorous testing process. Or that we can not put more manpower and time on the test. Game content and our staff is not proportional to the amount of content overload, but also lead to the entire game more than 10,000 test points. I remember last year at the Sony Developer Conference, we and a Japanese professional game testing agencies to communicate for a while. When we put the game ontology (then only 0.5 version) to them, let them estimate the time after. They actually told us that you need a full 1000 hours of testing / artificial. However, after six months, we finally understand that their 1000 hours of testing / labor is not without reason.

player G: You do the game idea is very good, but it is too big to feel you fill the pit on this. [/ h1] Chief: If Jingwei fill in your house in front of a small pond, then he also called Jingwei it? If the foolish move is behind his house that small mound, then whether we will know that there are so foolishness in the world? PG studio, the future of the basic game will be based on this background stage design and development. Pit black and black repair Xi Xi, let me use this life to fill the so-called "pit" it

player H: I almost every day waiting for the update, why do you need 3 to 4 days to update once. Can not be more frequent? [/ h1] Chief: This is our fastest speed, it is not fast, sorry.

player F: COG will be online version? [/ h1] Chief: You had this idea before, but in the short term our team was temporarily unable to realize. So, at least in the first generation of COG this work we still do not have a good idea to network him. BTW: I do not want to be a warden war game out, I think this kind of business class is not fun. (personal opinion)

player I: the story in the end there are several lines? Will it affect the end result? [/ h1] Chief: I did not have a lot of comments on the plot line, but it was sure that there would be three different results. (BAD ENDING, GOOD ENDING and Perfect ending) As to whether it will affect the end result, it is inevitable. In particular, we will soon be updated in the final battle, to help you how much you will bring you a very considerable fighting bonus.

player I: why at the end of the end feel very suddenly, there is empty feeling? Will there be any changes? [/ h1] Chief: As I said before, the final war has been basically completed. Will be replaced in the follow-up update or become a video front. At the same time, this battle will also be the largest version of the story to participate in the largest number, covering the most extensive, the largest scene of the fighting, the most fierce fire battle. He will determine whether the protagonist can successfully complete the plot pattern of the largest level.

players J: COG I will have the possibility of price cuts? [/ h1] Chief: Although there are many negative comments, COG is not worth 38 yuan, it is like my wife like those worth tens of thousands of luxury package, but in my eyes sub-text is not the same. And this value can not be completely changed. Therefore, COG this will not be involved in the future price reduction activities (at least this year will not). In addition, the end of the work EA, after the official version will be there may be price increases.

players K: on the tax rate before you and the players are not very intense? How in the 0.8 version after you still counseling? [/ h1] Chief: As I said before, everything is changing, I am also changing. In the dialogue with the players and the impact of discussion, my idea is also changing. And 0.8 version of the content, it should be under the influence of this change. To say that I counsel, I certainly do not recognize. Because from the beginning I did not go to who, at least, at some point to dare to firm their own "wrong" position. I did not feel any disgrace.

player K: whether to consider doing a free demo version, so that many novice experience and then decide whether to buy? [/ h1] Chief: This is great, in fact we have already had this plan. But the current schedule is still no time to do this work. But I believe that after the subsequent version of the perfect, we will make time to do a free demo version to more potential warden candidates.

players L: COG English version of what will come out, why not quickly out of the English version of it? [/ h1] Chief: At present, dozens of translators from the Gutenberg translation team are helping us translate day and night. As to why so long? The total amount of Chinese characters in the game is nearly 500,000. This is a disaster for the translation team. I think the Gutenberg team is not halfway down the stall has been mentally worthy of worship. We plan that the English version of the first BETA beta will be available in October. (Just plan)

Player M: Will this game have a mobile version? Will there be it? [/ h1] Chief: there will be, but theoretically there may only be IOS version. Can the country be able to go through the trial? Look at the feelings of those bigwigs it

player N: COG DLC will there? When will there be DLC? [/ h1] Chief: COG's first work will be DLC, but I said before the EA stage will not DLC. I think this is something we do not want to see, including me. I think it should be completed in the sandbox mode, become the official version and then talk about the production of DLC things. As for the specific content of DLC, the current has not yet clear.

Player O: When will there be a new job? What is the type of new work? [/ h1] Chief: In a previous announcement, I point out the upcoming egg event in the event presentation, which may describe the content and direction of our next work through the event. This means that the direction of our next work has been initially formed, but does not mean that we have begun to do the next work. As for the type of the next work and play, I think it is necessary to be completed after the entire COG I and then announced.
