Hey everyone! 👋
A massive THANK YOU to all players who jumped into the mazes during our two-week Steam Playtest! Watching you navigate the traps and betray your friends gave us invaluable telemetry and helped us track down the last few stubborn edge-case bugs.
Following these tests, we are rolling out Patch 0.0.3 (Demo Ready) to get the game in top shape. Best of all: the Official Public Demo will officially launch this Friday, September 4th, 2026!
Here is the full changelog for this update:
General & Display
Window & Display Handling: Fixed window switching issues causing the game to become unresponsive or lose focus during Alt+Tab.
Resolution & Scaling: Fixed display scaling bugs occurring when changing monitors or switching between windowed and fullscreen modes.
Visual Clarity: Removed unnecessary near-plane camera blur for better corridor visibility.
Credits & Tracking: Updated in-game credits and refined version control logging.
Multiplayer & Lobby
Lobby Restrictions: Fixed lobby settings to strictly require a minimum of 2 players before launching a match.
Spectator Mode: Fully fixed spectator cycling actions and resolved edge cases where the camera would detach or fail to lock onto living players.
Sync & Reconnection: Hardened client-host packet reliability during sudden ping spikes in multiplayer sessions.
Gameplay, Spawns & Balancing
Loot & Spawns: Resolved instances where tools and weapons occasionally failed to spawn in designated chests.
Trap Interactions: Fine-tuned collision boxes on moving hazards for crisper dodging.
Audio Balance: Adjusted sound mix priorities so monster footsteps and trap triggers cut through ambient noise cleanly.
