Hey everyone! Double update week this week!
BigScreen 0.2.1 is live on Steam
Streaming updates
- Black/grey screens and voice should work now for everyone!
- Streaming works even if you have multimonitors
- The correct screen should stream to other people if you are using multimonitors
Single player updates
- Single player screen, area, and game mode is remembered when you login
- Single player balcony seat is in the middle of the couch
- Single player balcony seat is larger and curved
- No more audio popup if user has changed audio settings before
Vive updates
- Other people's Vive controllers are smoother
- Hold both Vive triggers for 3 seconds to recenter
- Hold trigger while pressing grip button to angle your screen to your hand instead of your head
- Vive controller scroll wheel shows up when you can scroll (while gripping and pointing)
- Vive mouse works in SBS (you have to close one eye at a time though, we're going to find a better solution than this)
- Backspace on SteamVR keyboard works properly (press application button while pointing at a screen)
Bugs Fixed
- SBS should work if somebody is already playing it when you join their room
- User 4's TV is working
This update will pave the way for allowing shared system audio within the next week or two. We'll keep you up to date.
