Hello everyone, thank you so much for the feedback on the playtest. We had a lot more playtesters than we initially thought we would and are ecstatic with the results. We know playtests are usually more unstable versions of the game and not as fun to play. So thank you for everyone who participated, we got a lot of work done over these past few days. Below I have attached everything that has been added from your comments and concerns.
Changes so far
Mouse visible when alt+tabbing or clicking off-screen.
Mouse sensitivity should now be stabilized across devices
Replaced "Cheat Sheet" text in order sheet to "Checklist" for Stocking Phase clarity (since what you gather is not what you use in burger assembly).
Fixed Pause Menu settings missing labels.
Fixed assembly station ingredient collision.
Fixed broken settings in Main Menu.
Removed Checklist pickup (previously "Cheat Sheet"), and made it permanent across orders.
Removed inaccessible Interactions from other stations around the kitchen.
Removed usage counter from stations around the kitchen.
Updated overall UI to provide a bit more feedback.
Added small counter next to "Checklist", named "Minimum Required" to display minimum number of ingredients needed to return to kitchen (you do not need to collect everything).
Added audio feedback to most Main Menu and Pause Menu buttons.
Added waypoint HUD to help players navigate back to the kitchen.
Added Flashlight icon in bottom left corner with Keybind display.
Ingredient pickups now play low frequency hum when nearby (still needs tweaking - may disorient some players).
One very important thing to note in the patch notes. We heard an immense amount of feedback, from pretty much everyone about the freezer section being a bit too slow and frustrating. Ontop of that, all of you also emphasized you wanted more time to make your burger or play with the stations. We hear your voices and are actively working on putting more stations in the kitchen, please do be patient. The system is very large and we don't want to break it. We also added some quick fixes to make the freezer section overall faster. The requirement for ingredients has been cut in half(as seen above), the ingredients emit a low hum, and once you collect enough you will have an arrow back to the freezer door so you don't get lost if you're running low on time.

We also are proud to announce our demo will be going live Monday August 24th, and we would love to see what you all think of it. We have extra gameplay planned for it. That being said, we will most likely continue to run playtest in parallel with the demo. The demo will have a more tamed approach leading up to release. If you prefer more stable versions, check back to see if the demo is updated weekly. Where as with the playtest we will have more experimental features/mechanics. We recommend playing both.
We will keep both the demo and playtest updates live until the release of the full game this Fall, however, we will be shutting down the playtest 2-3 weeks before launch. This will allow us to focus on a more stable and polished version upon release.
What's planned for the demo and beyond:
Add audio to ingredients during burger assembly.
Add visual feedback to Menu UI.
Update assembly station order sheet display.
Additional Freezer gameplay tweaks.
Provide more stations for players to use.
One additional gameplay segment.

Thank you for your time and feedback, we hope to see you in the demo :)
