This update fixes an underlying problem that was depriving your stores of a large part of their customers, and adds a real credit system.
🧍 Your customers finally all show up
A flaw in the footfall system counted customers who were still on their way towards the store's occupancy limit. As a result, the shop refused to bring in new ones while they were still out on the pavement, and the displayed footfall rate was never reached. Levelling up therefore no longer increased your sales.
This is fixed: stores now serve up to twice as many customers per day, and level milestones finally make a difference.
• 🕗 4 customers arrive right at opening, at your door — no more waiting out the first hour
• ☀️ No more deserted afternoons: one stuck customer can no longer freeze the arrival of the next ones
• 🧭 Customers that are permanently stuck are now detected and sent home
🏦 Bank: a real credit line
The single $500 loan is gone, replaced by a proper credit line.
• 💳 Three offers — small, medium, large — each with its own repayment period
• 📈 Your ceiling rises with your store level
• 🔁 Up to 3 loans at once, as long as you stay under your ceiling
• 📊 A breakdown of every loan: remaining debt, daily payment and days left
• 📉 The interest rate is finally shown before you sign
• 💠 Completely redesigned interface
• 🔓 Fix: after paying everything back, the offers stayed greyed out — you had to close and reopen the app to borrow again
• 💵 Fix: a partial repayment freed up no borrowing room at all. Paying back $400 out of $500 now returns the matching capacity
• ⚠️ Fix: on a missed payment nothing was taken and the debt grew forever. The game now takes whatever is in the register, then applies the penalty
• 🏷️ Fix: in the starting shop, the screen displayed "Remaining debt: {0}" instead of the amount
📦 Parcel relay
• 📮 Important fix: a lightly loaded pallet would never leave, and the truck skipped its pickup. Parcels stayed stuck indefinitely.
• 🚶 The employee no longer walks through the counter
🧹 Hygiene
• 🚽 The cleaner now also cleans lightly dirty toilets. 100% hygiene is finally achievable.
🚬 Home-made cigarettes
• ✋ Hold right-click to stock a shelf straight from the pack case
• 📦 The case no longer slips out of your hands in front of a full shelf, and its contents no longer spill on the floor when you put it down
• 💰 You can sell your packs at a significantly higher price before customers walk away
🥃 Cigars
• 🎯 With several humidors on the same shelf, the one at the front is now the one that empties — whether you serve the customer yourself or your cashier does. The cigar used to come from the box at the back.
• 🗑️ Fix: an empty box being removed could make another, still-full box disappear
• 💾 Fix: several humidors in the same spot all came back with identical stock after reloading a save
🏬 Shop
• 🏮 Streetlamps have been added to the terrace
• 💡 The vending machine is now lit
• 📐 The slots at the back of the counter can finally be filled completely
• 🚭 Ashtrays no longer sink into the shelf
🌍 Translations
Close to 200 texts were only ever shown in French, whatever language you had selected. They are now translated into all 7 languages: pack case, joint box, pizza system, manual scratch-ticket verification, carrying actions, shelf-stocking messages…
• 🌿 The joint box showed all of its messages hard-coded in French — "Plus de joints", "Prendre un joint", "Servir le client"…
• 📦 While carrying a crate you read "Place la caisse": the name of the carried object was left untranslated
💾 Saves
• 🔑 Fix: starting a new game without restarting the game kept the licenses and expansions from your previous save. If your current save is affected, restart the game and then create a new save to start clean.
⚙️ Miscellaneous
• 🕐 The clock resets to 8:00 as soon as you close, without waiting for reopening
• ⚡ Performance optimisation in a busy store
