UPDATE 0.6.6 — EMPLOYEES & PARCEL RELAY
CHECKOUT
- The cashier no longer locks up for good: flagging an item out of stock in a way that emptied the order used to freeze him for the rest of the run, and he would never serve anyone again
- The cashier finally serves the joints ordered at the counter, taking them from the box sitting on it
- He no longer waits forever for a restock that never comes: after a delay he flags the item as out of stock and finishes the order
- He no longer stands waiting at an empty shelf while another shelf has the product
BAR
- Granitas made by the barman are served in a granita cup instead of a coffee cup
- The other way around, coffee can no longer end up in a granita cup
PARCEL RELAY
- Parcels dropped off by customers go straight onto the outgoing pallet, so there is no more loading them one by one at the end of the day. If no pallet is there, the clerk fetches one
- The loaded pallet is finally placed in the outgoing zone instead of next to it on the pavement, so the truck actually takes it
- The clerk returns to his exact work spot, facing the right way, instead of stopping anywhere around it
- He no longer walks across the map for a parcel lost far away: he stays within his work radius
- He no longer makes a parcel appear on a shelf he could not reach
DELIVERY DRIVER
- The driver steps out of the truck on the driver's door side instead of the back
- He borrows the store's pallet jack, loads his pallet at the tail lift, brings it to the zone, then puts the jack back down
- He no longer walks through his own truck: a parked truck is now an obstacle for pedestrians
PALLET JACK
- The pallet jack no longer sinks into the floor or floats in the air after being put down
- It no longer rests on its own pallet, which used to push it up a notch every time it was handled
Thanks for your feedback!
