Important: Existing Save Files
The issues affecting luxury and small tables have been fixed with this update. Unfortunately, tables that are already stuck or broken in your existing save file will not be repaired automatically.
There are two methods you can use to resolve this.
I apologize for requiring you to go through these extra steps.
Method 1 — Fix Your Existing Save
Launch the game and load your existing save.
Find any affected table where the timer and needs icons are no longer visible, but the customers still refuse to leave.
Equip your tray and click on the affected table.
If there are any mugs on the table, they will be transferred to your tray.
Return to the main menu and load your save again.
With the tray still equipped, click on the same table again.
The mugs on your tray will not be placed back on the table, but the table's timer should start running again.
Once the timer finishes, the customers may still remain at the table. Return to the main menu and load your save one more time.
After doing this, the table should be fully functional again.
You can repeat these steps for any affected tables in your save.
Method 2 — Create a New Save
The second option is to start a new game.
You can manually transfer your level, Silver, and Gold from your old save to the newly created save file.
First, start a new game. Once the game has saved, completely exit the game.
Then follow these steps:
Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
Enter the following path into the window:
%userprofile%\\AppData\\LocalLow\\Superwolf Game Studio\\Medieval Tavern Simulator
Press Enter.
Find the save files whose names end with saveData.
Locate the most recently modified JSON file.
Open the file using Notepad.
Press Ctrl + F and search for the following values:
currentSilver
currentGold
currentLevel
Replace the numbers next to these entries with the corresponding values from your old save file.
Press Ctrl + S to save the file.
Launch the game again.
Your new save should now contain the level and currency values from your previous save.
Technically, this method looks a little bit like cheating... but that's definitely not the goal this time.
Once again, I apologize for making you go through these extra steps because of this issue.
Your bug reports and feedback help me identify and fix these problems. I'll continue working on Medieval Tavern Simulator and addressing the remaining issues as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your patience and continued support.
