Greetings Champions! Here's what happening in the Realm this week:
Year 7 is On Its Way
Welcome to Year 7, Champions! We're back from winter holidays and we've got a lot to showcase to you all this week & in the coming update. For those not watching our Socials, we've revealed that Trials is returning (more on that soon!) as well as our lovely Dragrin friends on the way. There have also been a number of Item store teasers and reveals.
We'll be explaining more later in the week, but we wanted to briefly chat about some of the initial polarized response. Paladins' Item Store is core to the gameplay experience, and something we have learned over time is a very fragile space for iteration. With that in mind, we spent a lot of time behind the scenes last year slowly developing an evolution of the store to emphasize the things players love.
This includes new Items, reworked Items, and buffs to underwhelming Items. Our goal is to have an Item Store that truly reflects Paladins' history and strengths, while having some new aspects to help guide us into the future.
We'll be releasing a blog later this month with tons of details, but until then keep your eyes out for when we release the Developer Update and Notes for 7.1 later this week!
ICYMI: Latest Chronicle
House Aico has been preparing a wave of public goodwill to cement their rule, but with Cassie's return and the Abyss' gains, its more difficult than ever to posture.
Despite all this, Rei insists they hold a parade to celebrate! What could go wrong?

Wild Update Ahead
Year-launch updates are always a big deal for Paladins, but this one especially is kicking off a fun new era for the game, and we as a team as super excited to get players' hands on it. Our Update Reveal is right around the corner and PTS will follow soon after. We really hope the community digs in and finds things to love, as well as guides us in the ways to improve this for them.
It's basically our chance to show you all our vision of where Paladins is headed in 2024, and I think you all will love it. By this time next week, you all will know all and I'll be here to listen. Until then!
