The Official Trailer is here
Two minutes, and for the first time it explains what this is actually about.
What you're looking at
Every desktop shot in this trailer is real footage from a live build. The terminal is a real terminal. The nmap output is what the game prints. The SQL injection at 1:22 is the actual foothold in the Prologue — you find the legacy login yourself, you read the page source, you spot the unsanitised query, and you write the payload. There is no minigame standing in for it. The first thirty seconds are the part that has never been shown. HELLO HACKER 2 picks up after the first game, and it needed to explain that history to people who never played it, so the trailer opens on Project Nightfall: what it collected, what it computed, and what "phase three" turned out to mean. Those shots were built for this. The contact graph, the subject index, the relay bank and the asset plate are bespoke renders, not stock.
What the game is
A hacking simulator played inside a simulated desktop OS. Terminal, browser
with viewable page source, mail client, network scanner, forensics kit, crypto
workbench. You do the work in the tools, using the real techniques:
Recon with nmap — host discovery, stealth scans, version fingerprinting
SQL injection and IDOR against a web app that deserves both
Steganography, LSB extraction, file carving
Privilege escalation through a world-readable backup script
Classical cryptography, OSINT, social engineering
And all of it is loud. An intrusion-detection meter tracks your noise, and
AURORA answers it — tearing your screen, taunting you, editing your notebook
while you are reading it, throwing you off hosts mid-session. Go quiet and the
heat decays. Get careless and it comes looking for you.
A prologue and three acts. Three endings.
If you want to help
Wishlisting is genuinely the single most useful thing — it is what decides whether Steam shows this game to anyone else. It takes one click and it costs you nothing. Thanks for being here this early.
