Hey all!
We've been happily tinkering away at the game loop with the feedback from our playtesters in the Renegade Games Discord. And we're now at a point where we'd love to get input from everyone interested in Castle Away, including you!
Since announcing the project 5 weeks ago, we were able to gather a lot of input from playtesters and streamers, which will hopefully have resulted in a smoother onboarding and overall balanced experience.
This version of the game still only has about 20-30% of the content we have planned for full release. We'd say it's about as much as you'd expect for a demo. So we have a lot more ideas for worlds, monsters, demons, structures, upgrades and mechanics that will be featured in the full release later this year.
You can download the game by clicking the playtest button at the top of the steam page. Please make sure to try it out before April 27, as we're closing the playtest when Medieval Fest ends. It will help us a lot if you're able to fill out the 5 min survey after your playthrough (button found on the title screen).
And, of course, it helps us a ton if you wishlist the game!!
See you in the next update!
René, Sim and Matthijs
