📌 The Aquarium System Has Been Added
You can now enjoy displaying the fish you catch in your own aquarium.
Arrange aquatic plants and decorations freely to create your very own underwater world.
📌 The NPC system has been significantly overhauled.
As mentioned on the Store page, we would like to provide a more detailed explanation here to help you better understand the system.
We have introduced a system where each NPC's personality is created through a combination of multiple elements.
Their behavior patterns and relationships will change depending on combinations of factors such as their occupation, traits, and social standing.
Even the same resident can become a trusted companion in one world, while becoming someone who keeps their distance in another.
・Main factors that influence NPC behavior
😈 Race
A factor that determines an NPC's basic nature.
It greatly affects their preferred locations and behavior patterns. For example, some races may prefer forests, others churches, and others places active at night, each having their own unique lifestyle.
⚔️ Occupation
A factor that determines daily activities and places they visit.
A warrior may visit training grounds and weapon shops, merchants may spend time at markets, and mages may visit libraries and magic shops. Each occupation has different goals and routines.
💭 Ideology
A factor that represents values and beliefs.
Depending on which faction they are aligned with and what they prioritize, NPCs may behave differently even if they share the same race and occupation.
Their ideology and faction support can change through the player's actions, which will also affect their behavior and relationships.
💡 Traits
A factor that represents each NPC's individual personality.
Traits such as "book lover," "training enthusiast," or "cautious" will influence the places they visit and the way they interact with others.
😡 Emotions & Relationships
Factors that influence their current state.
Friendships, rivalries, and relationships with other NPCs, along with their current emotions, can lead to more conversations, keeping their distance, or even conflicts.
We will continue development and adjustments while focusing on making the game enjoyable and accessible.
Thank you for your continued support of 『Pirate & Darkmage』.
