We've got an updated Linux version of WolfQuest ready for testing. We've made a few tweaks and included the late August updates from PC/Mac. Hopefully this is in good shape now and ready to make official.
It's currently available as a beta build. To download it: Right-click on WolfQuest in your Steam Library, then choose Properties. Then click the BETAS tab, and select the "linuxtest" option in the pulldown menu. Then click Close and that should begin downloading. (If you don't see "linuxtest" listed there, quit and restart Steam.)
A couple notes:
1) Linux is a separate platform from PC or Mac, so you'll want to pay attention to the File Sync options. Ideally, you are synced up already with your PC/Mac version (and if you're not, please do so!), so when you run the Linux version, just click "Sync All Files" and all those files will download into your Linux version. Treat Linux and PC/Mac as separate platforms that should both be kept current with the syncing.
2) We've changed the save location based on feedback, so if you're knowledgable about such things, check that and let me know if it's good Linux defaults now.
3) If you have graphical problems, please submit a full bug report with the log file (instructions at bottom of pinned page on Discussions).
4) There's an annoying Unity bug on Linux platform that in some cases adds a close-parenthesis when you hit Tab on a text entry field, like your username and password. We've put in code to prevent this, but it doesn't seem to always work. Nobody complained about it in August, so I'm wondering if it's a real problem though. Please note if that happens or not below.
And many thanks to anyone who can test this for us.
