The V30.105 through V30.109 update cycle focuses on language handling, replay variation, incognito royal actions, diplomacy visibility, and agenda data refresh.
First, V30.105 fixes the English mode startup path. Previously, English mode could fail to activate even when the player entered an English royal name or English input during the initial setup. The game now detects Latin-letter royal names more reliably and switches into English mode correctly. The first setup prompt is also now shown in both Korean and English, making the initial onboarding flow clearer before the language is fully determined.
V30.106 introduces a run seed system. Each new game now receives its own seed, while loaded saves preserve their existing seed. This allows IWAK to keep its deterministic gameplay structure while making each reign feel more distinct. Players can check the current run seed with /seed or /runseed.
The same update also adds the royal incognito system. Players can now use commands such as /잠행, /암행, /incognito, or /secret to send the king outside the palace in disguise. Incognito actions are not just flavor text. They can reveal hidden information about public sentiment, rumors, bureaucracy, diplomacy, or market conditions, and they can lightly influence the next turn’s petition/agenda weighting. The results are determined by the rule engine, not by the LLM.
V30.107 expands the incognito system with a separate template CSV. More Korean and English incognito scenes have been added, and a variant_group system reduces repetition by avoiding recently used scene types whenever possible. Incognito effects are also now capped by an effect budget of 2, meaning these events can provide flavor and subtle strategic information without destabilizing the overall balance.
V30.108 adds a hidden “royal leisure” command path. If the player enters words related to hunting, outings, hot springs, amusement, banquets, poetry, or leisure, the king is treated as having left the affairs of state to the ministers. In Korean, this includes words such as 사냥, 행차, 온천, 유희, 유흥, 시조, and 놀자. In English, similar words such as hunting, outing, spa, banquet, feast, party, leisure, and entertainment are detected. The decree is internally resolved as entrusting the matter to the ministers, applying a hidden penalty to royal authority and public sentiment while increasing rumor.
This update also improves diplomacy visibility. As the agenda pool grew larger, foreign envoy and diplomacy-related events became harder to encounter. To address this, a diplomacy or foreign envoy agenda now appears every four turns. The selection remains deterministic based on the run seed and turn number.
Finally, V30.109 refreshes the agenda and option tables. The new data have been synchronized across payload config files and config.zip. The update verifies 300 agenda entries, 1200 options, full A/B/C/D option coverage, matching issue keys, and valid delta_json parsing.
This update does not change the save format, Steam Host structure, GUI renderer, BGM architecture, or deterministic gameplay principles. The focus is on improving replayability, language flow, hidden systems, and agenda coverage while preserving the core architecture.
