You can use the shield to defend.

While you press the ‘SHIFT’ key, your character will take defensive action in combat mode.
It is maintained for approximately two seconds, after that, if you want to defend, press the SHIFT key again.

Among the defensive action, you can obtain more by defense point of shield
Now.. You will get a small amount of experience about defense mastery.
Defense will reduce the feeling of fullness in the near future
