Thank you to everyone who has been playing and reporting issues on the Steam community forums! We have a small hotfix today addressing some UI quirks, a Linux-specific bug, and a late-game balance tweak.
🐛 Bug Fixes
Linux Achievements Persistence: Fixed an issue where the game couldn't properly locate the Steam native library on Linux Desktop. Cumulative achievements (like total souls earned or runs completed) will now correctly persist and track progress across multiple play sessions instead of resetting when the game is closed.
Button Overlap in Combat: Fixed an issue where the Split and Double Down buttons were placed too high on the screen. If you hovered over your cards, the cards would lift up and cover the buttons, making them difficult to click. The mechanic buttons have now been moved down next to the Hit and Stand buttons.
Skill Tree Localization: Fixed a formatting bug in the Unlocks screen where the soul cost would display as the unformatted variable "{0}" (e.g., "{0} Ruh gerektirir 800" in Turkish). We also cleaned up some redundant "Hold to unlock" text duplications across multiple languages.
⚖️ Balance Changes
Rule Breaker Meta Progression: Increased the unlock cost of the "Rule Breaker" node (Bust Limit 30) from 500 souls to 750 souls. This is a very powerful late-game capstone ability and should feel like more of an investment to reach! (Note: If you have already unlocked this node, it will remain unlocked.)
